St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club Pattaya
St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club in Pattaya
St. Andrew is a name that will be forever associated far and wide with the game of golf. At St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club, near Ban Chang and just 40 minutes outside Pattaya, that good name is not being abused. The club offers an 18-hole course with a par of 74, and its 7777 yards make it a rather long Pattaya golf course and a great chance to really power up each drive.
The course was designed by Englishman Desmond Muirhead, who was clearly working with the Scottish namesake firmly in mind. The course features elevated greens and massive changes in elevation on several holes. But these challenges aside, there are two things that stand out and make the course truly unique: two par 6s. These two incredibly long holes, at over 800 yards each, will provide a true challenge to even highly skilled players.
Pattaya Golf Courses
Although the par 6s are a unique challenge, the other holes at St. Andrews 2000 Golf Club are difficult in their own right, and this is considered one of the toughest courses in all of Thailand. However, even as one is struggling on the links, even the most frustrated golfer will be taken in by the natural beauty of the surroundings. This is one course not to be missed when enjoying a Pattaya golf holiday.
