The Karon Villa was by far the best accommodation I have stayed at in Phuket. As a frequent traveller to Phuket, I am always on the look out for affordable, comfortable and well situated residences.

I will never again seek accommodation elsewhere whilst staying in Phuket. Unlike hotels, the villas provide a sense of homeliness at the same time as providing unsurpased personal attention and service.

The villas are ideally located on high ground set back from Karon Beach, providing uninterrupted views and a security blanket against the ever looming tsunami threat.

Karon Beach provides easy access to busy tourist centres such as Patong Beach, yet is convenientlt detached from all the hustle and bustle. The internet description of the property were accurate in every regard ie. location, dimensions, pictures etc and the property was well serviced and maintained by the staff member, Ot.

Customer service was exceptional and mention must be made of the efforts of Ot, who readily adjusted his schedule to allow for the requirements of our party - including attending the marets and cookinf for us on occassion, collecting and arranging pick up for laundry and even adjusting his start time to midday in order to allow our an extra sleep to recover from hangovers - a regular event.

I highly recommend this property and the additional management services provided. Unlike other operators, the staff provide activity costings which represent true market values - this can be verified by directly seeking the websites of the activity providers.

In past holidays I have been ripped off by service providers who act as agents for tour/service operators in order to collect commissions, however, the management of these villas to provide real packages and discounts that I would be unable to achieve if I was to book the activities directly. My only regret is that we didn't pre-book more activities. The staff speak english to a high standard and are always available to answer questions/requests

The villa is a nice place to be in, the main bedrooms are special with lots of attention to details in the bathrooms and living area.

In a good location if you want to eat out, get tuk tuk's etc. as near the main drag though karon, although still 400m's from the main road. It is on a steep hill so you get a good 150m climb if you are walking from the road.

The pool on the roof is great with good views and a dumb waiter to bring refreshments up in. It is on 4 floors so there can be a lot of stairs to get from the lower bedroom to the pool. This and the infinity pool would make me think twice if I had a toddler.

The kitchen is well equipped and there are lots of lounging areas making the place feel very roomy. I recommend it, I will come back!

Six of us friends stayed at Baan Pa Nom for 4 nights towards the end of Sept and though it has been more than a month since we returned from our short holiday, we’ve all left parts of hearts back at the villa!! The Best part of our entire trip was enjoying the pure beauty within and around the villa. We were skeptical at first as we had viewed some pictures of the villa from other sites, but we were proved wrong as the pictures, even from Karon Rustic’s site, don’t do any justice to the villa at all!! We felt right at home and we must thank Susan and Utt, the dear housekeeper, for our wonderful stay. Though initially we did complain about the walk up and down the slope as the villa is situated on a hill, we overcame it soon enough and actually found it fun to work our legs for the 5-10 min walk, plus it was an easy walk to Karon beach and the nearby shops/restaurants!

We share the same sentiments as the other reviews – the rooftop infinity pool/Jacuzzi is splendid!! Sadly, we only utilized it for one night as we were packed with tours/activities for the rest of the days and it poured heavily the day we decided to stay in. We had no complains though, as we enjoyed indoors, watching DVDs-there’s a fairly great collection of DVDs, magazines and novels available in the living room. The villa was equipped with every facility we needed and even if there was something missing, we absolutely didn’t notice as we were simply awed by the simple yet beautiful interior designs and amazing views of the Andaman Sea and the nearby hills. As the kitchen was fully equipped with almost every type of cutlery and utensils, we bought our own groceries and cooked some of our meals. The lounge area at the living room was perfect for our drinking sessions, with the company of the constant cool breeze. Utt was very warm and friendly and kept our holiday home very clean with his daily services as well.

We’re still bragging about our stay at Baan Pa Nom to our friends and families and showing off the numerous shots we took! We even recorded our very own ‘MTV Cribs’ style video of the entire villa and had our own photoshoot at almost every corner of the house!
We’ll definitely plan another trip just to enjoy the serenity the villa offers. Sometimes we even talk about leaving everything behind and settling there! :) Our first thought and affiliation each time we think of Phuket is Baan Pa Nom and we don’t think That would change! Kudos to the accommodation!

A beautiful villa, very well serviced and in a good location - apart from the hill walk up from the main road! No real problem for most people and a small issue when everything else was so good.

From the minute we arrived at Villa Maria we thoroughly relaxed and had a fabulous holiday. The live in villa staff, Dui and Na were not only fantastic cooks but were great at caring for our young baby. The villa is ideally set up for young families yet really luxurious with fantastic art throughout. We had a wonderful holiday and have recommended it to a number of friends and family.

What a lovely, well appointed villa! Perfect for families and so close to the beautiful Nai Harn beach. We had such a great experience and certainly found everything to be immaculate and the food delicious! An ideal place for a relaxing holiday.

With every facility, not least of which is the private pool, there was nothing which we found lacking. Clean, fresh and well equipped ... the perfect family retreat. Located in the less commercial area of Phuket, the Sapphire Villa is set in quiet, natural surroundings yet close to amenities of restaurants, bars and shops at nearby Nai Harn Beach. Would not hesitate but to go back.

Just said goodbye to Baan Krajok after a fabulous stay. The house itself was magnificent - spacious, airy, beautifully light and elegantly furnished. It's a great space to share with friends or family. The real star of the show was the view from almost everywhere in the house over the pool through the palm trees and across Chalong Bay. It's breath-taking day and night.

A big thank you to Khun Pond and her team for looking after the place and us so kindly and efficiently.

This was our first visit to Phuket and we loved it, especially the sunset at Prom Thep, the amazing Big Buddha, the bustle of Phuket old town (with some great restaurants) and driving home back to the calm lushness of Cape Panwa.

We loved the local market which is less than 10 minutes drive from the house and the fact that our biggest decision was whether to cook in the internal kitchen, the Thai kitchen at the back or on the huge barbecue by the pool....

Altogether - a treat!

This was an amazing villa to spend a holiday together with you family and friends.

My brother lives in Phuket and it was great for us all to spend lots of time together and Baan Ponkai was the perfect place for that reason.

There are many seated areas, on the terrace overlooking the private swimming pool, and the Thai Sala, where the guys spent most of their nights with a beer or two.

We actually got married in Phuket and had the reception in the house. It was perfect and spacious and a great base to explore the south side of Phuket.

We absolutely loved and will keep the memories dear for the rest of our lives. A big thank you to the owner, Brian, and for Thailand Holiday Homes who made our wedding experience the best ever.
